Services to Youth focuses on providing a range of innovative and substantive programming, which contribute proven results to key educational, or social/community issues. Our Mission is “Links seizing the opportunity to help our youth achieve”. Opportunities vary from year to year, but all programs are able to show a positive impact on the children we serve. The Little Rock Chapter is pleased to continue its work with Centers for Youth and Family Services providing an annual Christmas party for youth in one of their residential programs. The LR Chapter members contribute funds for a Christmas shopping excursion for students and staff. Members also present a Christmas skit titled “The Reason for the Season”. With the advent of the corona virus, members contributed 500 three-ply face masks (PPE) to the Center for the children. Under the umbrella “LIFE” project, the facet provided copies of the book, “Because of Mr. Terupt” to the young ladies (Girls Rock and Next Generation) at Henderson Middle School. This book addresses anti-bullying, a topic of high interest to the programs for the young ladies. The photos below are from the Henderson Middle School parent workshop.
